What we do
UseBrowserTools is a growing collection of free online tools for everyday tasks: merging and converting PDFs, resizing and compressing images, counting and cleaning up text, and running quick calculations. Every tool targets one specific job and aims to do it in a few clicks, with no account and no software to install.
How it works — and why that matters
Most online tools upload your files to a server, process them there, and ask you to trust that they are deleted afterwards. We built UseBrowserTools the opposite way: the tools run as code inside your own browser tab. Your files and text are read, processed, and saved on your device and are never uploaded to us. That makes the tools fast (no upload wait), usable offline once loaded, and genuinely private — there is nothing on a server for anyone to see, leak, or misuse. It is a real advantage for the documents people care about most: contracts, IDs, bank statements, medical records and unpublished work.
What we believe
Simple, single-purpose tools beat bloated all-in-one apps. Privacy should be the default, not a paid upgrade. And a tool should be free to use without forcing a sign-up. We keep the lights on with unobtrusive advertising rather than by charging for the basics or selling data.
