What is a collage maker?
A collage maker combines several images into one arranged picture. It is useful for before-and-after comparisons, travel recaps, product groups, social posts and photo collections. Choose up to four images, select a layout and adjust the space between them. The final collage is generated as a separate PNG while your source photos stay unchanged.
How to make a photo collage
- Upload two to four photos from your device.
- Choose a grid, horizontal strip or vertical strip layout.
- Set the spacing between images and choose a background color.
- Review the live preview, then create and download the PNG collage.
Every photo fills a square cell using a centered cover crop. This prevents empty bars around portrait or landscape pictures, although outer edges may be trimmed to fit the cell. Use a photo whose important subject is near the middle for the best result. If a particular image needs more control, crop it first with the Image Cropper tool before adding it to the collage.
Choosing a collage layout
The grid is a balanced option for three or four photos and displays two images per row. A horizontal strip makes a side-by-side sequence, which is useful for comparison images or a wide header. A vertical strip stacks photos for a tall story-style graphic. Increase the spacing to create a clean, separated look, or reduce it to bring the images together. The selected background color becomes visible in these gaps.
Private collage creation
The Canvas API assembles the preview and final image directly in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded to a server, and your original files are not edited. You can try different layouts and colors repeatedly before downloading the version you want to keep. The output is ready immediately.
